Dealer Business Journal is written for the people who run independent and Buy Here Pay Here dealerships. We’re looking for practitioners dealers, compliance professionals, finance managers, and industry consultants who can share real, useful expertise with our readers.

Submission Guidelines

What we publish

Compliance and legal analysis relevant to independent or BHPH dealers
BHPH financing, underwriting, and collections best practices
Dealer operations: inventory, reconditioning, staffing, technology
Original industry news, data, or trend analysis

What we don’t publish

Consumer-facing car buying advice
Thinly veiled product promotion or sales pitches
Content that has already run on another publication

Format

800–1,500 words, written in plain, direct language. Include your professional background in a two-sentence author bio. We may lightly edit for length, clarity, and house style; we’ll send significant edits back to you before publishing.

Rights

Contributors retain authorship credit. Dealer Business Journal publishes the piece under a standard non-exclusive license unless otherwise agreed in writing.
